All attacks are spiritual in nature — and so is our defense.
Over the past two-and-a-half weeks, the assaults came fast and from every direction—family grief, friendly fire, institutional drift, and legacy threats. I have faced battles before, but never four fronts at once. Instead of frazzling, I felt the seriousness of the hour: if hell is throwing this much heat, heaven must be forging new steel in me.
Below is the field report—names concealed, truths revealed. Let it arm you for your own fight(s).
1. The Accountability Warrior
"Comfort is the enemy of calling."
Attack: Cowardice and the passive permission of evil—people who keep doors open to dysfunction because confrontation feels uncomfortable.
Response: Set holy boundaries. Refuse to confuse peace-keeping with peace-making. Like Nehemiah, build with one hand and guard with the other.
Scripture: "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." (Eph 5:11)
Quote: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." —Martin Luther King Jr.
2. The Disengagement Warrior
"I see what you're doing, and I will not engage." —Jordan Peterson
Attack: Narcissists and chaos agents who feed on reaction.
Response: Silence, detachment, a spiritual NO TRESPASSING sign. Don't answer a fool on their terms; exit with integrity.
Scripture: "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him." (Prov 26:4)
Quote: "Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig likes it." —George Bernard Shaw
3. The Watchman Warrior
"If the watchman sees the sword coming … and does not blow the trumpet, the people perish." —Ezek 33:6
Attack: Mission drift wrapped in "progress." Standards loosen, truth dilutes.
Response: Sound the alarm. Ask the hard questions. Prophetic, not panicked.
Scripture: "Cry aloud; do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet." (Isa 58:1)
Quote: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." —Edmund Burke
4. The Guardian Warrior
"Above all else, guard your heart." —Prov 4:23
Attack: Legacy distortion—people resurfacing to twist the past and leverage guilt.
Response: Legal clarity, truth without apology, and sentinel vigilance like the living creatures surrounding the throne (Rev 4).
Scripture: "They triumphed by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony." (Rev 12:11)
Quote: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." —Eleanor Roosevelt
Final Marching Orders 🛡️
- Fight—activate the warrior best suited to the front you're facing.
- Stand—having done all, keep your position (Eph 6).
- Release—once boundaries, letters, or alarms are in place, let it go. Stop replaying the battle; give the burden back to God.
- Rest—warriors need watchtowers and sabbaths. Victory is His, not yours to micromanage.
If you're taking incoming fire, rejoice—you're rattling hell's gates. Stay armored, stay prayed-up, share the burden with trusted battle buddies, and remember: Jesus isn't just Shepherd; He's Warrior-King.
