Great article. I think as humans we have multi-layers and can have many interests in many things. True some people know from the time they are little children what they want to be when they grow up and others, like myself and maybe you also, try many things and discover so many gifts and talents along the way. We can “beat ourselves up” thinking maybe we missed the boat by not staying in one field, but because I myself have many interests I have learned by following in the path least traveled I have peeled away layers only to discover how multi-talented I am. There are amazing treasures to be found and can make you more interesting. I used to make the comment that I was jack of all trades and master of none – but that is a negative and not true, as I have master so many different things and have learned so many truths along the way. But once I learn and stay with it for awhile, I find I need to continue to stretch and grow and learn something else. It always amazes me when I do something that 10 years or 5 years ago I would have never even imagined such a thing, and you are right you do gain appreciation and confidence in yourself. Another great article. Keep it up! You go girl!
Great site. A lot of useful information here. I’m sending it to some friends!
Thanks very much for checking it out and sharing!
Rosemary, great to see you here! And thanks for your comments and encouragement on both posts. I saw a Lincoln quote today that summed up my fascination with and benefits of experience. “I have never had a policy. I have simply tried to do what seemed best each day, as each day came.” You go too girl!!:-)
