It's hot, you're sweaty and longing for some relief from the heat. And while thinking about winter, you're probably also dreaming of all those snowy nights of Christmas celebrations! Charlie “Tremendous” Jones loved Christmas so much he celebrated it every day of the year and even had a whole portion of his estate dedicated to his favorite holiday. He also came from a broken and impoverished home achieving only an 8th grade education. He knew what it was like to grow up in pain, but he also witnessed what the power of love and generosity could do in a child’s life. This life-changing thankfulness drove his legacy of philanthropic giving and is still alive and well today, thanks to you.
Last year, Tremendous Leadership had the honor and privilege of being the lead sponsor for A Tremendous Christmas at the Italian Lake in Uptown Harrisburg. This event benefited Bethesda Mission, located in Harrisburg, PA. This organization provides a men’s, women’s and children’s shelter, along with a medical and dental clinic. We raised $8,565 to help meet the increasing need of more bed space, develop a new women’s shelter and renovate and expand a community center for the youth of Harrisburg.
We have the blessing of sponsoring Christmas at the Italian Lake again this year, thanks to our customers and tremendous supporters. Tremendous Leadership donates its profits to organizations like Bethesda Mission because of our tremendous fan and customer base. Gloria, “Mrs. Tremendous” Jones, is taking the another one of the lead sponsorship so we can have an ice skating rink this year! We’d love to have you be a part of supporting the many things this incredible organization is doing.
